Moral Decesions

One time while my friends and I were riding around on our bikes, we were considering going into the Trails, which is a home made bike trail like thing. It's a fun trail but it can also be dangerous if you don't pay attention. The other option was to just continue riding around on the back roads where it was safer. We decided to go in anyway, but we told ourselves to stay on the outside of the track, as there were scattered shallow pits along the trials.

My decision was influenced by myself. I considered the consequences and pros of each option. Riding on the roads was less fun, but it was safer. Riding the trails was more fun but also more dangerous at times, if you're not careful. After riding around, we all made it out alive and in one piece, none of us fell at all. It was a fun experience.

(Apparently, that area is the water company's property and the trails were flattened.)

Opinion on Torture

No, I do not think terrorists should have human rights. If they want to kill huge masses of people, they shouldn't deserve them. In this article,  I think that who ever was in charge of the prison should be punished the most, for authorizing the actions of the persons who actually did torture the prisoners. Those persons should be punished also. Yes, I think physical torture is moral IN SOME situations. If the situation is time critical, like something is going to happen VERY soon, then I think it's okay. My opinions stay the same if the country did not hear about this torture.

What Does It Mean to be Literal?

Being literal means saying something that is just the truth, plainly the truth, not exaggerated in any way. A definition of literal isfree from exaggeration or distortion. Yes, I have used "literally" in a sentence before.
